ECI completes 7 beach approaches for a total of 25,000 feet installing 6 5/8 inch conduit as part of Hawaiian Islands - Inter-Island Undersea Fiber Optic Network.

River Crossing
ECI completes 2,668 foot river crossing and pulls into place a 24-inch diameter water main installed 30 feet under the river bottom. The pipe string weighs an estimated 300,000 pounds (empty) and is one of the largest horizontal directional drilling (HDD) projects ever undertaken in Michigan.

River Crossing
ECI completes 4280 foot crossing under the St. Lucie River and installs a 30 inch force main. The project team received "Project of the Year" award from the Florida Institute of Consulting Engineers.

Mississippi River Crossing
ECI loosens a drill pipe abandoned by a previous driller, reams the hole and successfully installs a 12-inch steel product pipe 4994 feet under the Mississippi River.
